This policy explains how SimplyPD handles information when you visit this website, submit a contact form, or follow a link to a third-party service. It applies to this website and does not govern the independent practices of other websites or services.

Information we handle

Contact-form information. The forms on the SimplyPD homepage can collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, position or title, school or district, and your consent to submit the form. You may choose which optional fields to complete. The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field.

Website and device information. Google Analytics may receive information about your visit, including pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, browser or device details, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. SimplyPD also records aggregate events when a contact form is successfully submitted or a Calendly link is selected. The event sent to Google Analytics does not include the contact-form fields.

Abuse-prevention information. Cloudflare Turnstile may process network, device, browser, and interaction information to distinguish people from automated abuse. SimplyPD receives a Turnstile response associated with the form interaction.

How information is used

  • Respond to inquiries and understand the professional-development support requested.
  • Deliver contact-form submissions to the SimplyPD team.
  • Measure website use and whether visitors reach important actions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and protect the website and its forms.

SimplyPD does not use the contact-form fields as Google Analytics event parameters.

Service providers and external destinations

  • Slack receives contact-form submissions through an incoming webhook so the SimplyPD team can review and respond to inquiries.
  • Google Analytics provides website measurement and event reporting.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile supports abuse prevention on the contact forms.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the website and its server-side contact endpoint.
  • Calendly is an external scheduling destination. If you follow a Calendly link, Calendly handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

These providers may process information in locations different from your own and under their own service terms.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics can use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and measure website use. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies may reduce measurement but should not prevent you from reading the site. You can also use Google’s available analytics opt-out controls.

Retention

SimplyPD does not publish one fixed retention period for every category of information. Contact submissions may remain in the Slack workspace according to its configured retention settings and may be retained while reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet applicable obligations. Google, Cloudflare, Vercel, and Calendly retain data according to their respective settings and policies.

Your choices

  • You can choose not to submit a contact form and can omit fields that are not required.
  • You can block or delete cookies through your browser and use available Google Analytics opt-out controls.
  • You can contact SimplyPD through the homepage form to ask about information previously submitted. SimplyPD will evaluate requests according to the information available and any applicable obligations.

Security boundaries

SimplyPD uses service providers and technical controls intended to support website and form security. No internet transmission, third-party service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit confidential student records, passwords, payment-card information, health information, or other sensitive data through the general contact form.
